Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks a Nurse Educator in Warden, WA to lead orientation and ongoing education for nursing staff and oversee the nurse residency program. You will develop and deliver training to ensure high standards of clinical practice.

The role requires a BSN with 5+ years in acute care and at least 2 years in nursing education, plus CPR/ACLS/PALS instructor status preferred. Relocation assistance is offered and a strong community focus complements a growing healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required, Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred.
• CPR and ACLS/PALS instructor status preferred.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience in acute care within the previous 7 years.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and deliver orientation and educational information to new and existing members of the nursing staff and oversee the nurse residency program.
• Facilitate and teach certification classes for Healthcare Providers (ACLS, ACLS-OB, PALS, NRP, TNCC and ENPC).
• Work closely with nursing managers, nursing staff and education staff in order to support the development and maintenance of nursing skills through educational opportunities.

LOCATION: Warden, WA

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required, Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred. Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• CPR and ACLS/PALS instructor status preferred.

Hours and compensation potential:

• This is a full-time, salary exempt position.
• Range is $115K-$144K depending on experience.
• Full benefits package including relocation assistance(5K).
