Job summary

Skyview Rehab and Nursing in Connecticut is seeking an energetic RN Educator responsible for the education of all employees. The role entails developing orientation for new nursing and general staff and maintaining comprehensive training programs for the nursing department.

You will plan and post a monthly calendar of education programs, participate in Quality Improvement initiatives, and operate with a Monday–Friday schedule plus on-call rotation in a flexible management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conducts orientation sessions for all new nursing/general employees.
• Maintains training programs for the nursing department and works with the nursing leadership team to identify areas of need or interest for presentations.
• Plan, schedule and post monthly calendar of education programs
• Participates in Quality Improvement Initiatives and Meetings
• Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule/hours in management role.
• On call rotation.
