Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Nurse Education Manager for Perioperative to lead education programs for nurses, surgical technologists, and allied health staff. You will design, implement and evaluate onboarding, competency validation and ongoing professional development within a multidisciplinary perioperative team.

Qualifications

• BSN with current RN licensure.
• Master’s degree in education, healthcare or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant clinical leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of perioperative education initiatives.
• Provide strategic leadership for onboarding, competency assessment, continuing education and professional development.
• Collaborate with clinicians, educators and leaders to advance clinical excellence and patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and support performance improvement across perioperative care.
