Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking an Academic Education Specialist to strengthen nursing education through hospital-based clinical placements and partnerships with college programs. You will coordinate student rotations, supervise instructors, and help expand the learning environment for future nurses.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN, active NH or multistate RN licensure, and BLS certification, with 2+ years in precepting and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
• Current New Hampshire or multistate RN licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Minimum of two years’ preceptor and medical-surgical RN experience.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical placements and student learning experiences between the hospital and nursing schools.
• Schedule clinical rotations, ensure preceptor coverage, and align objectives with clinical practice.
• Oversee Clinical Instructor Partners and supervise student experiences for program compliance.
• Develop partnerships with nursing programs to expand placement opportunities and recruitment pipelines.
• Monitor and document student performance, competencies, and program outcomes.
• Promote a positive clinical learning environment and support ongoing professional development.
• Communicate student performance concerns and program updates with faculty and leadership.
• Support onboarding, training, and competency validation activities.
• Exercise independent judgement in managing complex responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
