Job summary

A community hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Nurse Director to oversee a 21-bed ED and 7-bed Emergency Hospital, with a shared staffing model across locations. The Director will lead operations, quality, patient flow, and staff engagement while partnering with hospital leaders.

Required are a nursing Bachelor's degree (or enrollment with plan), 3–5 years in management, a Master's degree, and clinical specialty certification. Relocation and sign-on bonus offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required or currently enrolled with completion plan.
• Minimum of five years' clinical nursing experience, 3 years in management capacity.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• Certification in clinical specialty or nursing administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the ED and a second Emergency Hospital department under a shared staffing model.
• Accountable for overall operations, quality, patient flow, and employee engagement.
• Leads collaboration with Behavioral Health, Med-Surg, ICU and other hospital leaders.

Community hospital looking to bring on Emergency Department Nurse Director! Sign On Bonus and Relocation!

Oversees a 21-bed Emergency Department and a 7-bed Emergency Hospital, operating under a shared staffing model with approximately 55 to 60 FTEs across both locations. The Director is responsible for the overall operations, quality, patient flow, employee engagement, and leadership of both departments while partnering closely with Behavioral Health, Med-Surg, ICU, and other hospital leaders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required or currently enrolled with completion plan
• Minimum of five (or 3-5) years' clinical nursing experience of which 3 (or 2) years must have been in management capacity.
• Master's degree in nursing and/or related field
• Certification in clinical specialty or nursing administration
