Job summary

State of New Hampshire Hospital is seeking a Nurse Coordinator on the 3rd shift to provide supervision and leadership to the Nursing staff around the clock. The role requires an active NH RN license, a Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, and at least five years of RN experience in a health care setting.

The incumbent will collaborate across departments, guide patient care practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting staff development and staffing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in nursing, human services, psychology, or related field; substitutions allowed.
• Five years’ experience as a registered nurse in a health care facility or related human service field; substitutions allowed.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certification by the American Nurses Association or another nationally recognized certifying entity in Nursing Administration or related to the role.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to formulation of mission, goals, and objectives for the Nursing department and hospital.
• Manages delivery of nursing care as unit/department supervisor and on-site “person-in-charge.”
• Identifies and communicates clinical and administrative concerns to staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Maintains a therapeutic, caring environment 24/7 in line with hospital standards.
• Mentors staff, supports professional development, and participates in quality initiatives.
