Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources seeks a full-time Nurse Coordinator-Registered Nurse to support the Federal Occupational Health Clinic at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes occupational health nursing, patient care, and education for adult employees in a federal building environment.

Responsibilities include clinical nursing duties, emergency response, prevention programs, and administrative coordination.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience providing direct patient care
• Must be able to perform a blood draw and intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
• Graduate from a National League of Nursing accredited school (Diploma, AD, or BSN)
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Active RN licensure in any of the 50 states, active and unrestricted
• Minimum 1 year supervisor/management experience preferred

• Provide nursing care in an occupational health setting including: first aid, emergency response, provision of treatments prescribed by a personal physician, assessing and monitoring environmental hazards for special classes of employees, promoting optimal employee wellness, & risk-based prevention programs
• Provide education to clients (BP monitoring, flu immunizations, etc.)
• Coordinates, plans, and implements all administrative activities (order medical supplies, etc.)
