Job summary

Harris Health seeks a Nurse Clinician II to provide advanced nursing care within the Houston facilities. The NCII will apply standards, manage common patient problems, and work within the Nursing Service guidelines to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the State of Texas
• Basic Life Support (AHA or Red Cross) certified
• 1 year full-time RN experience or GN program completion
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Independently and safely manages patients with problems common to the assigned clinical area.
• Recognizes when additional resources or assistance are needed and seeks appropriate support.
• Applies standards, principles, and algorithms to clinical situations.
• Maintains proficiency per Texas Nursing Practice Act and Harris County Hospital District Nursing Service requirements.
