Aurora Health Care is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support patient care across units. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while engaging patients and families in the continuum of care.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, updating care plans, and collaborating with the care team to achieve positive outcomes. You will maintain documentation in the EHR and participate in professional development.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the relevant state.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation.
• Pursues professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.
• Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and contributes to integrated, unbiased patient care.
• Delegates to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other personnel.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Provides age-appropriate care with awareness of growth and development across the lifespan.
• Licensure and telehealth compliance may be required.
