Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of clinical healthcare experience (hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech).
• 2–5+ years of case management experience.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience.
• Reimbursement experience is a plus.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct education and support to patients and caregivers.
• Communicate insurance coverage updates to patients and caregivers.
• Review financial assistance programs and coordinate therapy support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve reimbursement issues.
• Engage with patients and provider coordinators for individualized support.
• Educate patients to advocate for themselves.
• Develop relationships to manage complex patient challenges.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Nurse Case Manager, Central to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will provide individualized patient and caregiver support with a strong focus on education, access, and reimbursement coordination. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders and external care teams to help patients navigate therapy-related challenges and understand their coverage and support options. It is well suited for a clinically experienced nurse who enjoys patient advocacy, cross-functional collaboration, and regional outreach in a highly specialized treatment environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $136,000 – $187,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Provide direct educational training and support to patients and caregivers regarding the condition and the company's therapies
• Communicate insurance coverage updates to patients and caregivers
• Review financial assistance programs and coordinate logistical support for therapy
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve reimbursement-related issues
• Engage with patients and provider case coordinators for individualized support
• Empower patients through education to advocate for themselves
• Develop relationships to help manage complex challenges faced by patients and caregivers
