Job summary

Berkley Medical Management Solutions (BMMS) in Michigan seeks a Nurse Case Management Supervisor to lead a team of nurse case managers and unlicensed clinicians, ensure timely case assignments, and maintain high clinical value while supporting budget constraints.

You will interview and hire new staff, conduct evaluations, and foster strong relationships with Berkley operating units. Requires RN license, CCM and Case Management certification within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensed nurse with leadership experience
• Proven coaching and leadership skills
• Full working knowledge of Nursing Scope of Practice
• Excellent listening, communication and writing skills
• Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
• Experience with workers' compensation case management preferred
• Self-directed, professional, and proficient in advocacy
• Leadership aligned with BMMS Innovative behaviors

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to support a high-functioning managed care team
• Provide service recovery using BMMS policies and BMMS cultural values
• Develop nursing competencies and assess staff annually
• Take on case management duties to support staff and cover vacations
• Interview and hire new nurse case managers and BMMS team members
• Orient all new hires
• Oversee timekeeping and payroll entries
• Prepare and deliver performance evaluations and coaching
• Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, leadership, vendors, and Berkley units
• Report trends or improvements to senior leadership
• Maintain professional presence and effective communication
• Foster psychological safety and a collaborative culture
• Complete tasks and projects timely and accurately
• Adapt to evolving work environment
• Other duties as assigned
