Job summary

The University of New Mexico's Center for Development and Disability seeks a Nurse Manager/General Care to lead the Albuquerque Metro area staff within the Medically Fragile RN Case Manager program. You will provide clinical and operational oversight for a large statewide nursing case management effort serving children and adults with medical fragility and their families.

Reporting to the CDD Medical Director, the role includes onboarding, supervision, and mentorship of nurse case managers,

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing or related field. Licensure as RN in NM or multi-state license.
• Minimum 5 years of community-based nursing experience.
• Experience teaching or training nurses.
• Proven ability to lead and organize teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead metro area Nurse Case Managers and oversee onboarding, supervision and mentoring.
• Oversee case assignments, coverage, and monthly billing/documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to ensure program quality and compliance.
• Represent nursing in community education and NM leadership programs.
