Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager- Care Coordination to lead daily nursing activities on a 40-hour day shift in Worcester, MA. The role partners with the Manager of Care Coordination to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient operations within the department.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff, reviewing patient case management needs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to budget and resource planning.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN licensure and registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or management experience as required.
• Case Management certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of two years related clinical experience.
• Demonstrates leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily departmental function for high-quality patient care.
• Assist in budgeting, staffing and resource planning with Care Coordination leadership.
• Promote compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Foster staff development, coaching and performance evaluations.
