Job summary

Generations Healthcare offers a Nurse Assistant Training Program combining online theory with in-person clinical training at Lakeside Special Care Center. This program prepares participants for the State Competency Exam and provides an opportunity to work as a Nurse Assistant Trainee after completion. Training runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m. for 25 days, with no training cost. Candidates must have computer access, complete required screenings, and provide vaccination proof

Qualifications

• Enables compassionate patient care in a healthcare setting.
• Must have access to a home computer with internet, video, audio and webcam.
• Background checks including LiveScan and drug screening may be required.
• Provide proof of COVID vaccination or approved accommodations.
• Strong communication skills are essential for training and patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Complete theory training via Canvas LMS and live Zoom sessions.
• Attend clinical training at Lakeside Special Care Center.
• Meet program schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., for 25 days.
• Perform learned skills satisfactorily to prepare for the State Competency Exam.
