Job summary

Generations Healthcare offers a Nurse Assistant Training Program that combines online theory with clinical training at Lakeside Special Care Center. The program requires internet access, background checks, and COVID vaccination. There is no cost for training, and participants will be hired as Nurse Assistant Trainees, preparing to sit the State Competency Exam for Certification.

Training runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., over 25 days, with compensation of $16.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• Access to a home computer with internet, video, audio, and webcam capabilities
• Completion of history and physical, TB screening, and drug screening (one week before session start)
• LiveScan fingerprinting for criminal background clearance
• Possession of an email account (preferably Gmail)
• Proof of COVID vaccination (or accommodations/waiver)

Responsibilities

• Complete theory training via Canvas Instructure and Zoom
• Participate in clinical training at Lakeside Special Care Center
• Prepare to take the State Competency Exam for Certification
