Job summary

Generations Healthcare offers a Nurse Assistant Training Program that combines online theory with in-person clinical training to prepare you for the State Competency Exam for Certification. There is no cost for the training, and trainees will be hired as employees in the Nurse Assistant Trainee position.

The program blends distance learning through Canvas and Zoom with hands-on clinical training at Lakeside Special Care Center, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 25 days.

Qualifications

• Access to a home computer with internet, video, audio, and webcam capabilities.
• Completion of history and physical, TB screening, and drug screening (to be done one week before the session starts)
• Proof of COVID vaccination (or approval for accommodations or waiver)

Responsibilities

• Attend theory training online with Canvas and Zoom and live instruction by a licensed instructor.
• Complete clinical training at Lakeside Special Care Center.
• Prepare to take the State Competency Exam for Certification after training.
