Job summary

Generations Healthcare offers a Nurse Assistant Training Program that is online/hybrid, preparing you for the State Competency Exam for Certification. The program is provided at no cost, and participants are hired as Nurse Assistant Trainees.

The hybrid format combines distance theory using Canvas Instructure and Zoom with on-site clinical training at Lakeside Special Care Center, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 25 days.

Qualifications

• Program requirements include access to a home computer with internet, video, audio, and webcam capabilities.
• Completion of history and physical, TB screening, and drug screening (to be done one week before the session starts).
• LiveScan fingerprinting for criminal background clearance.
• Possession of an email account (preferably Gmail).
• Proof of COVID vaccination (or accommodations/waiver).
