Job Description - Nurse Assistant (NA) - Step Down Neuro Med Surg - Part Time (7479-9871)

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and collaborating with the Patient Care Team, Nursing Assistants provide direct patient care and support to patients and families. They perform various non-patient care duties, ensuring positive interactions with patients, families, and visitors. Care is provided according to the age and developmental needs of patients, including adults, geriatrics, and adolescents.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience; on-the-job training provided if necessary.
• Basic Life Support certification or ability to acquire it within the introductory period.
