Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and in collaboration with the Patient Care Team, Nursing Assistants provide direct patient care and support, perform non-patient care duties, and ensure positive interactions with patients, families, and visitors. Care is tailored to the developmental needs of patients across all age groups, including adults, geriatrics, and adolescents.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED; graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience; basic Life Support certification (or to be acquired within the introductory period).
• Preferred: One-year experience in an acute care setting.
