Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support the night shift float pool (7P-7A) under the supervision of an RN. You will perform basic patient care tasks, help ensure safety and comfort, and respond to urgent situations according to hospital procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Nurse Assistant program (CNA preferred), or enrolled in a nursing program with relevant coursework; certification in BLS Heart Saver is required during orientation.
GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the responsible Registered Nurse (RN), performs specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs of the patient. Provides input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care. Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures. Recognizes and participates in own continuing education. The Nurse Assistant follows the Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.
