Qualifications

• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or active enrollment in a nursing program with required coursework; or foreign-trained RN without Michigan licensure; or Medical Assistant program.
• Current BLS Heart Saver Certification required during orientation.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in providing direct patient care to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
