Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant in Mount Pleasant, MI to support patient-centered care under RN supervision. You will assist with daily activities, maintain comfort and safety, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA regulations in a patient-facing environment.

Responsibilities include performing delegated patient care tasks, aiding with hygiene, mobility and daily living activities, and ensuring a safe, clean setting while protecting staff and patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant.
• One month of job-related experience and/or training.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: One year of experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN in effort to identify/attain treatment goals.
• Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Provides physical support for patients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, feeding, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing or exercising.
• Ensures compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment and protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control, hazardous waste and other policies and protocols.
• Performs other related job duties as requested.
