Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a Nurse Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision. You will provide essential bedside care, assist in care planning, and respond to emergent situations. Your contributions directly support the nursing team and enhance patient experiences.

You'll participate in continuing education to grow your skills and uphold high standards of care within the Henry Ford Health System.

Formación

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR enrolled in nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of experience in a similar role.

About the Department

3B- 12 bed cardiac stepdown is a cardiac unit that includes anything with general medicine including COPD, CFF, cardiac traumas (not super acute), low sodium, and diabetes.

As a Nurse Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide essential patient care, assist in care planning, and respond to emergent situations. Your contributions directly support our nursing team and enhance the patient experience.

• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
