McLaren Health Care in Port Huron, MI is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the 3 South Cardiac Stepdown Unit on the nights shift (6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). The role supports patient-centered care under RN supervision, handling daily activities and basic care.
Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, ensuring infection control, HIPAA/OSHA compliance, and maintaining a safe environment. Candidates need a high school diploma, six months' experience or training, and BLS certification.

Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of a Nurse, contributes to the delivery of patient-centered care through: Performance of selected day-to-day patient care activities. Maintenance of an environment that is functionally and aesthetically conducive to patient well-being. Demonstrates unit/area-designated competencies. Interacts with patients considering their developmental, age-specific, and cultural spiritual preferences.
