Powers Health is seeking an ED Nurse Assistant for our Munster location, within the Community Hospital Emergency Department.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with patient care, personal needs, comfort and safety, following hospital policy. Requirements include high school diploma, one year direct patient care or nursing assistant certification; CPR recommended. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus.

After the patient's plan of care has been determined by the team leader (RN), the Nursing Assistant performs various designated patient care activities necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort and safety of the patient in accordance with Hospital Policy and Nursing Service Standards.

Education/Experience: High school graduation or equivalency. One year direct patient care experience with successful completion of competency exam or completion of nursing assistant certificationrequired. CPR certification recommended. Completes annual skill validations as well as safety and infection control procedures.
