Job summary

UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to manage anesthesia care pre-, intra-, and post-operatively under the supervision of staff anesthesiologists. The role requires a Master’s in Advanced Nursing Practice and a Florida APRN license with BLS.

Candidates must complete AHCA Level 2 screening and maintain up-to-date licensure. Responsibilities include comprehensive preanesthetic assessments, developing and implementing anesthesia care

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in advanced nursing practice is required.
• Florida APRN license with current credentials.
• BLS certification required.
• AHCA Level 2 screening must be completed.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: A minimum of a Master’s degree in advanced nursing practice is required

Credentialing: Must meet requirements set forth by the Medical Staff Office to obtain and retain privileges to practice as an Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist within UF Health Shands Hospital and/or the Shands UF Healthcare Network, as applicable

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current and clear license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
