Role Overview:

+ Collaborate with other members of the peri-operative healthcare team

+ Deliver comprehensive care to surgical patients across the lifespan

+ Ensure the delivery of outstanding care and cultivate an environment that centers on the needs of patients and their families

Key Qualifications:

+ Current New York State (NYS) RN license/registration

+ Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia training program and certification

+ CRNA experience preferred

Core Skills:

+ Must possess a strong foundation in anesthesia principles, pharmacology, and patient assessment to provide safe and effective anesthesia care.

+ Critical Thinking and Decision-Making: be adept at assessing complex situations, analyzing data, and making quick, informed decisions to ensure patient safety during anesthesia administration.

+ Effective communication skills are crucial to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

+ Work in fast-paced and unpredictable environments, requiring them to be adaptable and flexible in responding to changing patient needs, emergencies, and evolving clinical situations.
