Job summary

LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing invites applications for an Instructor or Assistant Professor - Part-Time in the Nurse Anesthesia Program. The position involves teaching across BSN, MN/MSN, PhD and DNP levels, with emphasis on simulation labs, research, and clinical practice within the school’s nurse-run clinics.

Successful candidates will have a Doctorate and Louisiana APRN licensure eligibility with current certification in Nurse Anesthesia.

INSTRUCTOR OR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR-PART-TIME NURSE ANESTHESIA PROGRAM

LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our faculty as a school of nursing excellence within an academic health sciences center environment. Our nursing faculty have the opportunity to educate future nurses at the BSN, MN/MSN, PhD and DNP level, including state-of-the-art simulation laboratories; conduct nursing & interdisciplinary research; engage in faculty practice, including our nurse-run clinics; pursue entrepreneurial and consultative activities; and serve as a nursing leader and development of leadership skills through our Emergent Nurse Leader Program.
