LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing invites applications for an Instructor or Assistant Professor in the Nurse Anesthesia Program (0.20 FTE). The role supports education across BSN, MN/MSN, PhD and DNP programs, includes simulation labs, research, and nurse-run clinical practice.
Minimum qualifications include Doctorate and Louisiana Advanced Practice RN licensure with current certification; preference for candidates with a Doctorate and experience mentoring diverse learners.
LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our faculty as a school of nursing excellence within an academic health sciences center environment. Our nursing faculty have the opportunity to educate future nurses at the BSN, MN/MSN, PhD and DNP level, including state-of-the-art simulation laboratories; conduct nursing & interdisciplinary research; engage in faculty practice, including our nurse-run clinics; pursue entrepreneurial and consultative activities; and serve as a nursing leader and development of leadership skills through our Emergent Nurse Leader Program. Certifications or Licenses Required: Licensed or eligible for licensure in Louisiana as a Adv. Practice Registered Nurse (Licensure by Start Date), currently certified/re-cert. by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists with a current/active Nurse Anesthesia practice
