Steel Health & Rehab Center in Defiance, Ohio, is launching a No-Cost Certified Nursing Assistant training program. We are accepting applications for free Nurse Aide training, leading to a rewarding career with one of the largest long-term care providers in the US.

Upon successful completion of the training and test, you will be offered Full or Part Time employment depending on availability. This program supports your growth within our facilities across the region.

Qualifications

• Be knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Provide daily nursing care per resident plan under supervision.
• Able to work required shifts and follow supervisors' directions.

Responsibilities

• Work shifts at Steel Health & Rehab Center.
• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident assessment and care plan.
• Report changes to Nurse or charge person immediately.
• Assist with showers, baths, dressing, and maintaining resident dignity.

Responsibilities after Class will include but are not limited to:

• Able to work required shifts at Steel Health & Rehab Center
• Be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
• Provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
• Reports any changes to the Nurse or designated charge person immediately
• Supervise, assist or provide showers and baths Supervise, assist residents to dress/undress Assure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident
