Get paid while training to become a Certified Nurse Aide! Join our next paid Nurse Aide Training class at Passavant Community in Zelienople, PA. The program includes five weeks of paid clinical and classroom training during the daylight shift from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with rates starting at $16.75 per hour.

As a Nurse Aide Trainee (NAT), you will participate in a classroom training program. After completing the training, you will assist professional nursing staff with routine resident/patient care activities, respecting residents' rights, privacy, and confidentiality. You will promote acceptance of treatment goals and respond promptly to residents' needs. The NAT will work in this capacity until passing the state competency exam.

The class is scheduled to start on July 2, 2025.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of the PA State Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent
• Must pass the NA competency test within 120 days of hire
• Applicants without certification must demonstrate eligibility to sit for the PA State Nurse Aide Training Program and pass the test within 120 days
• Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, and touch screen documentation required
