The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Gino J. Merli Veterans' Center in Scranton, seeks a part-time Nurse Aide to support veterans and spouses, assist licensed staff, and help residents through daily routines with dignity and compassion.
The role emphasizes teamwork and high-quality care in a long-term facility. Shifts are 2nd (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) and 3rd (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) with 20 hours/week, no telework, and every-other-weekend rotation.
As a part-time Nurse Aide with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) at the Gino J. Merli Veterans' Center, you will play a key part in creating a safe, steady, and encouraging environment for veterans and their spouses. This role offers meaningful hands-on involvement and the chance to support licensed staff as residents move through their daily routines. You will help promote comfort, dignity, and organization throughout the unit, making each resident feel supported and respected.
