Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide for the Pole Creek Estates Long-Term Care unit in Sidney, Nebraska. The role supports residents with ADLs, collaborates with nursing staff, and contributes to a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Nebraska Nurse Aide license and BLS certification, plus a high school diploma or GED. Full-time daytime and evening shifts available with generous benefits and PSLF program guidance.

Qualifications

• Performs activities of daily living (ADLs) with residents.
• Observes resident condition and reports changes to licensed staff.
• Communicates with health team to coordinate care.
• Maintains resident safety and dignity at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands-on resident care including ADLs.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties under nursing staff supervision.
• Follow individual care plans for each resident.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting and personal care.
• Observe and report changes in vital signs or status to the nurse.
• Assist with setting up equipment and transporting residents safely.
• Document care provided and resident responses.
• Collaborate with team to meet identified outcomes and ensure resident safety.
