Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College seeks a Nurse Aide Instructor / Program Coordinator to deliver classroom Nurse Aide instruction, develop syllabi, and lead program goals. The role may mentor adjunct faculty, coordinate schedules, and travel to sites while maintaining records and ensuring compliance with TCSG policies.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Nursing with an active Georgia RN license, a current BLS card, and teaching or train-the-trainer credentials, plus two years

Qualifications

• Earned Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Documented active, unencumbered Georgia RN license.
• Documented current BLS card.
• Documented two (2) year paid full-time, in-field work experience in patient care.
• One (1) year of nursing experience as an RN in a long-term care facility.
• Train-the-Trainer Workshop certificate from Alliant Health Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Nurse Aide students in classroom settings and develop syllabi.
• Develop program goals and objectives and prepare lesson plans.
• Maintain grade books, records, and inventory and communicate effectively.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and travel within the service area as needed.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing

Active Georgia RN license

Current BLS card

Two years paid full-time in-field work experience in patient care

One year RN experience in a long-term care facility

Train-the-Trainer Workshop certificate from Alliant Health Solutions
