Job summary

Cullman Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alabama is offering a Nurse Aide in Training position where you are paid while you train to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. No prior certification required to start, with on-site training and opportunities to certify and advance.

You will support residents with daily tasks under supervision, learn hands-on clinical skills from experienced staff, and transition to a full CNA role upon certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for working with the elderly and individuals with health needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to attend and complete the full training program.
• Commitment to transitioning into a CNA role upon certification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with non-clinical daily tasks under the supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with meal delivery, hydration, linen changes, and general comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in resident rooms and shared spaces.
• Observe and report any changes in resident behavior or condition.
• Participate actively in training classes and on-floor clinical practice.
• Transition into a CNA position upon successful certification.
