CienaHealthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant in Training to provide supervised resident care in accordance with policies and regulatory standards. This role is a preparatory step toward certification as an STNA or CNA, assisting with ADLs, ensuring safety, and supporting licensed staff.

Qualifications

• Graduates must complete state-approved nursing assistant training.
• Must pass state competency exam within 120 days of employment.
• Name entered into state nurse aide registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and positioning with proper body mechanics.
• Respond promptly to call lights and changes in condition; report observations to licensed staff.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Provide postmortem care.
• Makeroutine rounds on each assigned resident every two hours.
• Contribute to residents’ assessment and the plan of care.
• Provide nursing rehabilitation/restorative nursing services.

Education and/or Experience:

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
