Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state Board of Nursing approved Nurse Aide II course or nursing student listed as Nurse Aide II.
• Nurse Aide II/II registration with state health department required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and perioperative care.
• Maintains safe and therapeutic environment and uses lift equipment.
• Ensures accurate and timely communication of patient information.
• Performs procedures as directed by the RN.
• Supports age-appropriate care per guidelines.
