Job description

Overview

The Nurse Aide I supports WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The four key concepts of PFCC are:

  1. Dignity and Respect: Listen to and honor patient and family perspectives and choices.
  2. Information Sharing: Communicate and share complete and unbiased information with patients and families in ways that are affirming and useful.
  3. Participation: Patients and families are encouraged and supported in participating in care and decision-making at the level they choose.
  4. Collaboration: Patients, families, and Nurse Aide I collaborate in the delivery of care.

    The Nurse Aide I understands the needs of the organization and supports its mission, vision, values, and goals.

    • Nurse Aide I required and must maintain vehicle operator insurability.
    • Phlebotomy preferred.
    Education

    Experience
