Covingtoncountyhospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide hygiene and personal care, monitor vital signs, transport patients, and support safety in a clinical setting. Under nursing supervision, you will assist with personal needs and comfort of patients.

The role requires current CPR and BLS certification, plus prior experience. Duties include helping with bathroom needs, bathing, feeding, measuring vitals, and reporting concerns to an RN or physician.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Help patients use the bathroom.
• Clean and bathe patients or residents.
• Maintain patients' hygiene and bedding.
• Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds.
• Serve meals and help patients eat.
• Measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature).
• Report health concerns to RN or doctor.

Responsible for assisting with or providing hygiene and personal care routines. Monitors vital signs, transports patients, and promotes safety of patient environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Under the direction of nursing personnel, the nursing assistant provides patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Duties include but are not limited to personal hygiene, collection of vital signs, assist nursing and/or physician staff with procedures as needed, unit cleaning and assistance with eating.

• Must have current certification in CPR
• Experience required
• BLS Certification is required

Position Type: Full Time; 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Health, Dental + Vision Insurance; PTO/STO; 401(A); Short Term/Long Term Disability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Help patients use the bathroom
• Clean and bathe patients or residents
• Maintain patients' hygiene and change bedding
• Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
• Serve meals and help patients eat their food
• Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
• Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor
