Job summary

Caring Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and essential transportation within a clinical setting.

You will monitor vital signs, assist with meals and mobility, document patient information, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides patients' personal hygiene by assisting with bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; help with travel to the bathroom and showers.
• Assists with activities of daily living by serving meals, feeding as needed, ambulating, turning and positioning patients; provides water and nourishment between meals.
• Administers adjunct care such as enemas, douches, dressings, preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz baths; applies restraints as needed.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; tests urine; records intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by transporting patients, answering call lights, reporting observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Serves hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, and federal/state/local requirements.

• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
