Job summary

Capital Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision. You will document patient data, assist with activities of daily living, and help ensure smooth transitions and discharge teaching while maintaining accurate records.

The role emphasizes communication with the care team, attention to patient safety, and timely reporting of changes in patient status. This is a full-time, on-site position with a standard 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Paid or practicum clinical experience is preferred.
• AHA Heartsaver AED certification is required.
• Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CPR under supervision of RN or Physician.
• Accurately document patient care activities and data.
• Perform ADL tasks such as bathing, feeding, and hygiene.
• Complete assigned duties within timeframes set by RN.
• Reinforce discharge teaching and patient self-care activities.
• Record vital signs and other observations in the computer system.
