Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand simple sentences in English.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers must be obtained within six months of employment.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s license may be required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Give patients tub, sponge, and bed baths and assist ambulatory patients with showers.
• Assist patients with toileting, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Take temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure; record measurements accurately.
• Collect stool, urine, and sputum specimens for analysis.
• Assist with enemas under the supervision of the nurse.
