Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking passionate Nurse Aides to provide nursing care and daily living activities for residents at Hale Kupuna, Koloa, HI. You will orient residents to the unit, respond to calls and alarms, and support families as needed.

The role includes participating in a 5-week free Nurse Aide training program with guaranteed full-time or part-time employment, leading to promotion to Nurse Aide/CNA after completion. PTO and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Prometric exam within 120 days of hire.
• Commit to one year employment as a Full-time or Part-time Nurse Aide/Certified Nurse Aide.

Responsibilities

• Nurse Aides orient residents to the unit and facility: bathroom, call system, shower schedule, activity calendar, and lanai/common areas; informs of meal schedule and snack times.
• Nurse Aides respond to resident calls, call bells/lights, and alarms immediately. Responds to family requests. Informs Charge Nurse when required.

The Position:

We're looking for passionate Nurse Aides (NA) to help us with providing nursing care and services to residents, which include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.

• Ohana Nurse Aides orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, activity calendar, and lanai/common areas; informs of meal schedule and snack times.
• Nurse Aides respond to resident calls, call bells/lights, and alarms immediately. Responds to family requests. Informs Charge Nurse when required.

Free Course Instruction with Full-time or Part-Time Employment:

• Course schedule to commence November 3, 2026- December 03, 2026
• Duration: 5-week program with in-person instruction.
• Course instruction provided by OPH
• Work as a Care Assistant concurrently with Nurse Aide Training Program
• Promotion to Nurse Aide/CNA following program completion

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Nurse Aide Training Program.

• Commit to one (1) year employment as a Full-time or Part-time Nurse Aide/Certified Nurse Aide.
