Qualifications

• One year of health-facility experience with nursing skills, vital signs, and patient care.
• Current Hawaii Nurse Aide Certificate and completion of a State approved training program.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Heartsaver.
• Driver's license may be required for certain positions.
• Knowledge of multiple cultures; good communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through the performance of nursing support tasks.
• Rotate shifts and work in various care units (e.g., SNF, ICF, medical, surgical).
• May provide home care for patients.
