Job summary

ACCfamily in Virginia seeks a Nurse Aide to assist with basic patient care as part of a supportive team. This full-time position offers competitive pay ($17.00-$20.00 hourly) and opportunities for ongoing education and growth.

The Nurse Aide will assist with daily living activities, report changes to an RN, and help meet psychosocial needs while maintaining compassionate, professional care for residents.

Qualifications

• Assists with procedures/plan of care prescribed by a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions.
• Provides for patients psychosocial and spiritual needs & special conditions.
• Develops & maintains cooperative and therapeutic relationships with residents, families and other staff
• Responds to patient needs and responds to patient safety concerns promptly.
• Licenses/Certifications/Registration: Home Health Aides, Nurses’ Aides and Certified Nurse Aides. Companions with no certifications must have at least 2 years’ experience
