Job Overview

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, and continence. Support senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees. Follow department protocols for documentation and prioritize assignments to meet changing needs. Ensure work duties align with assigned environment and care plans, safeguarding PHI and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Additional Responsibilities

• If working in a Residential Style Living Community: prepare meals, handle laundry, evaluate emergencies, and perform CPR if trained.
• If utilizing MA40: prepare/administer medications and treatments under RN supervision, evaluate emergencies, and perform CPR if trained.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA and/or MA-40 certification, in good standing, on the Nebraska State Registry.
• Must meet vaccination requirements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as aide or caregiver preferred.

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, including medical terminology.
• Unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 50 pounds, with strength and agility.
