Job summary

Hale Makua Health Services on Maui is seeking passionate Nurse Aides (CNA) to provide nursing care and services for residents, including personal and restorative care and daily living activities.

TNAs orient residents, respond to calls, bells, alarms, and inform the Charge Nurse as needed, joining a mission-driven team with growth opportunities. This on-site role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18.
• Completed State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).

Responsibilities

• Ohana Nurse Aides (TNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas; introduces to residents at table; informs of meal schedule and snack times; and informs of activity calendar and where activities are held.
• Nurse Aides (TNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests immediately. Informs Charge Nurse when required.

The Position
