Job summary

Hale Makua Health Services in Maui seeks dedicated Nurse Aides (CNA) to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a compassionate, team‑focused environment.

TNAs orient residents to the unit, respond to calls and alarms, and assist with daily living activities. Requirements include HS diploma, Hawaii CNA training, Prometric scheduling within 120 days, and TB clearance. Ohana Pacific Health offers PTO, tuition assistance, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18.
• Completed State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).

Responsibilities

• Orient residents to the unit and facility: bathroom, call system, shower schedule, lanai/common areas; introduce residents at table; inform of meal schedule and activity calendar.
• Respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, and alarms immediately; inform Charge Nurse when required.
• Assist with activities of daily living and overall nursing care as part of a team.

The Position

We're looking for passionate Nurse Aides (CNA) to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.

• Ohana Nurse Aides (TNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas; introduces to residents at table; informs of meal schedule and snack times; and informs of activity calendar and where activities are held.
• Nurse Aides (TNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests immediately. Informs Charge Nurse when required.
