Overview

The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary provides secretarial support to patients, families, and staff to ensure efficient, customer-oriented service. The role actively supports WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The four key PFCC concepts are: Dignity and Respect (listening to and honoring patient and family perspectives), Information Sharing (communicating complete and unbiased information), Participation (encouraging and supporting patient participation), and Collaboration (working together in care delivery). The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary understands organizational needs and supports WakeMed's mission, vision, values, and goals.
