Qualifications

• Active CA LVN license required.
• Willingness to obtain Virginia licensure preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by employer’s auto policy.
• 4 continuous years of driving experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Fewer than 3 moving violations in last 3 years.
• No more than 1 major violation in last 3 years.
• Knowledge of medical/clinical terminology, esp. behavioral health/detox.
• Strong critical thinking, communication and multitasking.
• Proficiency in documentation and EHR systems.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards a plus.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI LiveScan background checks and CDSS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to medical staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain medication logs.
• Record and monitor vital signs (temperature, BP, resp).
• Support clients with basic healthcare needs and assessments.
• Sterilize equipment and uphold infection control practices.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary care discussions.
• Maintain timely, complete documentation in EHR.
• Conduct medical chart audits for accuracy and compliance.
• Schedule and track appointments, referrals, follow-ups.
• Manage medical supplies and inventory.
• Ensure Joint Commission standards compliance including med management and infection prevention.
